For Visual Arts form, 3 * 45-minute lessons will be included.

 

First 45-minute session:

  • First 20 minutes the educator gives a brief introduction including instructions, guidance, examples and expectations regarding the overall lesson in regard to the visual art activity. 

  • Next 25 minutes, allocated groups can be announced, and students can research and discuss to come up with which Animal’s great adventure they are exploring, investigating and presenting with arts. And should move on to the visual art form. This will be an individual activity. They might choose to do a Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Digital Art, Collage or a Poster.

 

Second 45-minute session:

  • First 40 minutes, students will create the Visual art content. If any student needs their artwork time to be extended (dry so that they can paint) They can finish their artwork in the next session and present.

  • Next 5 minutes students are advised to pack up any colouring, brushes, paper, material etc and clean up the classroom.

Third 45-minute session:

  • Students will present the artwork.

  • Teacher can engage with the artist and the audience to critically reflect on the artwork as time permits. These can be photographed and presented on school broadcast and shared with parents as well.
